(*) From 40 € per year, your donations benefit from a tax advantage in Belgium.
For individuals, the tax reduction is 45% of the amount actually paid, which is included on the certificate.
The total amount of donations for which the tax reduction is granted can never be:
more than 10% of all net income, or
more than EUR 384,300 (2019 tax year - 2018 income)
For businesses, any donation is entitled to a tax deduction of 33.99%.
The limit for donations made by companies subject to corporation tax is twofold:
a ceiling of 500 000 euros
a limit of 5% of the taxable profit
The tax certificate for all donations made during a year is sent in February of the following year by mail and as long as the total amount of donations reaches 40 euros.
